Kristine Blackport has been telling jokes for as long as she can remember – both to humans and the animals she grew up around on her family’s farm in Michigan. Chickens, pigs, cows, rabbits, cats, dogs… Kristine grew up in a virtual petting zoo. (She named her favorite pet chicken “Sela,” after the actress Sela Ward.)

Her favorite animal now is Rascal, her dog – a six-year-old Lab/Chow/Chihuahua mix that Kristine is convinced is going prematurely grey because he worries about her… whether she’s eating enough, getting enough sleep, and is happy overall. (Note to Rascal: yes, yes, and yes.)

Kristine works as a professional actress, appearing in commercials, on stage, and in one movie so far (which we’re pretty sure she’ll manage to mention on air a few times once the film is released to the public!). She’s also been a wrangler at a dude ranch, a waitress, and a camp counselor.

Other things you must know about Kristine: she can sing Jingle Bells in French, is a vegetarian, loves to snowboard and hike, and was on the puppet team at church when she was a kid. (We know what you’re thinking… we didn’t know there was such a thing as a church puppet team, either.)
